About Hope

Remember Hope, the little giri I posted about here? I have been in contact with a family that met her shortly last summer, and this is what they could tell me about her: Hope is frail and brave at the same time. She is curious and has a mind of her own. Not a girly girl. She was walking valiantly with her spindly legs through the grass of the orphanage grounds. Forlorn and determined at the same time. Someone special.
Hope is diagnosed with Pierre Robins syndrome. This is a congenital condition of facial abnormalities. Most children with this syndrome grow up to lead healthy and normal adult lives. To learn more about PRS, go here: http://www.pierrerobin.org/
If you are looking for your daughter, please consider her. Hope turns four in February, and is at risk of being transferred to a mental institution.
